Lammsbräu Is A True Pioneer In Organic Brewing
Lammsbräu uses a unique model of beer making that is ecological and sustainable from field to stein. Our passion for the best enables our brews to not only meet but exceed the quality and taste of the world's best beers.
You Will Not Find Chemicals Or Cans In Our Bottling Line
We strive to minimize the ecological impact of our bottling and packing facility. You will not find any Lammsbräu beer in cans. We only use reusable bottles, which are returned to the brewery, cleaned and used over and over again. Our labels do not contain any metal foils or metal based colors. We do not use processing aids such as PVPP (Polyvinylpolypyrrolidon), often used in the beverage industry to extend the shelf life. Instead, we ensure freshness by carefully planning our production schedule: we produce small batches which are instantly shipped to our customers. We optimize our delivery routes to minimize the energy consumption of our delivery trucks – which for the most part run on vegetable oil instead of diesel.
We Strive To Reduce The Ecological Impact and Provide Wholesome Beers
Our 90 member strong team shares a common goal: to produce beneficial beverages from ingredients provided by Mother Earth, while reducing the impact on our environment. We are deeply rooted in our Bavarian home region: The Lammsbräu brewery was established in 1628 in Neumarkt and never left town. The fertile local fields provide us with our hops and grains, delivered by tractor directly from the farms. Sustainability is paramount to us: We use rainwater, recycle process water, recover thermal heat and produce energy with sun collectors. For our leadership in sustainability, we received many awards, including Germany's Federal Environmental Prize.
